D’Auria Porte
D’Auria Porte
Project Overview:
As part of the real-world client assignments from businesses in Italy after the website development and training program, D’Auria Porte, a long-established Italian company specializing in high-quality wooden doors since 1968, engaged us to design and develop a website that reflects their craftsmanship, product craftsmanship, and modern design sensibilities.
Objective:
- Branding alignment: Showcase the tradition, heritage, and artisanal quality of D’Auria Porte in a clean, modern digital format.
- Product presentation: Display their door “collections” (e.g. Nexus, and Tempora) with engaging visuals and clear descriptions. Dauriaporte+1
- User experience: Create intuitive navigation, clean layout, and responsive design so that users can explore products, company background, and contact easily on any device.
- Communication & lead capture: Provide clear ways for potential clients (architects, designers, homeowners) to contact the company and request more info or quotes.
Methodological Steps:
- Discovery & Research – We studied D’Auria Porte’s history, product range, brand values (heritage + innovation), and target audience (design-oriented customers, architects, etc.).
- Wireframing & Design Mockups – Created layout options showing product galleries (door models), about / company pages, and contact / enquiry forms. Selected imagery, color palettes, typography consistent with their craftsmanship identity.
- Content Integration – Incorporated the product collections with full product descriptions, eco-materials (e.g. recycled paper) details.
- Responsive Development & Technical Build – Ensured the site functions well on mobile, tablet, desktop; optimized for performance; ensured easy navigation and fast load times.
- Testing, Feedback & Launch – Iterative feedback from client; cross-browser testing; user testing; final adjustments; launched publicly.
Results:
The new website provides a refined, modern platform that communicates D’Auria Porte’s rich heritage and their commitment to quality materials and design.
